Nutrition tracking for histamine intolerance and celiac disease.

Log a meal by voice, photo, or by hand. Every entry is rated against a 1,200-food histamine database built on the Swiss SIGHI list, and checked against 200+ hidden sources of gluten. Data stays on the device. There is no account and no subscription.

Four tools, one app

01

Voice tracking

Speak the meal in your own language and it is logged. 99+ languages, including mixed-language sentences. No typing and no database search.

02

Apple Watch

Today's intake and allergen warnings on the wrist. Log a recent meal in one tap; a haptic tap flags a high-histamine or gluten-containing entry.

03

Histamine intolerance and MCAS

High-histamine foods, liberators, and DAO inhibitors, rated on the Swiss SIGHI list. Cumulative daily histamine load rather than a single per-food verdict.

04

Celiac and gluten-free

Gluten where it is not obvious: soy sauce, malt vinegar, wheat derivatives, and known cross-contamination risks are flagged on the entry itself.

How it works

Voice, photo, or manual — all included

Voice logging is not a paid tier. MyFitnessPal charges $79.99 a year for its Premium plan, which is where its voice logging lives.

A purpose-built food vision model

Photo recognition runs on a model trained on 44 million food images, not a general-purpose chat assistant asked to guess at a plate.

Allergen and dietary detection on every entry

Gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, soy, histamine, and FODMAPs, with cross-contamination notes where they apply. Not a separate module.

No account, no cloud

Entries are stored locally in Core Data. There is no sign-up step, no advertising, and no analytics on your food log. Export to CSV at any time.

Questions

Is voice logging really free?

Yes. Voice logging in 99+ languages, photo recognition, and allergen detection are all included at no cost. There is no premium tier for core features.

Where does the histamine data come from?

Ratings follow the Swiss Interest Group Histamine Intolerance (SIGHI) food compatibility list, covering roughly 1,200 foods and distinguishing high-histamine foods from liberators and DAO inhibitors.

Does it work with Apple Watch?

Yes — a native watchOS app is included. It shows the day's nutrition summary, logs recent meals, and delivers allergen alerts as a haptic tap. See Apple Watch.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Export the full log to CSV at any time — useful for a dietitian, allergist, or gastroenterologist reviewing a symptom diary alongside intake.

Is this medical advice?

No. JustAddTofu is a tracking tool. Histamine and gluten ratings are reference data, not a diagnosis, and should be used alongside advice from your clinician.
